Check out the video for this walking table, which apparently debuted at the Dutch Desgin Week in Eindhoven, Netherlands. I’m not sure whether walking furniture is the stuff of nightmares, or dreams (since you’ll never need to call 2 Men and a Truck to push it from one side of the room to the other). On the other hand, as one sharp (and curmudgeonly) commenter has noted, the table only moves on one axis, so while walking it back and forth might be easy, taking it for laps around the room is another matter.
