Aww. I got 9/10. I'm ashamed. Time to watch "Independence Day" again. I wonder how much money would Roland Emmerich pay for the "damage" of countless monuments?

100% - I'm slightly ashamed of myself for liking Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow. (And thanks for the reminder of what Godzilla did to Madison Square Garden, Austin! At least you didn't mention the Brooklyn Bridge scene!)

I got 9/10. I'm not sure if I should be proud or utterly disappointed in myself as a human being.

I like how these earth shattering events always hit an arbitrary location. How about a hailstorm in the Montana farmfields, destroying crops? How about a Tidal wave smashing into Jonesport Maine and the southern tip of Nova Scotia? Why can't we have tornadoes ravage an already destroyed Chernobyl? How about a drought in the southwest tip of Australia? How many times can you show the destruction of New York, Paris, L. A. and Tokyo? I'm surprised however, that the Pyramids of Giza stay relatively unscathed in most of these movies.

Man, I hope Mr. Emmerich has a really good therapist. We know he already has a killer special effects team...
