TIME just shows how we can't rely on fancy polls or experts to tell us who the #1 person in America is. We need a March Madness-style Person of the Year tournament so we know beyond any doubt who is the best, just like college basketball. Plus TIME could spread the tourney out over like 30 issues, so they could make a ton of money on this and cut back on whatever it is they normally publish in their mag.

Honestly, has anyone bought a hardcopy of TIME in the past year? Are library subscriptions the only thing keeping them afloat?
