Matt Morris was one of my close friends in high school. great guy, and even then he had a fantastic voice! i remember when we’d go to the mall and walk past the Disney Store: he’d get embarrassed and groan, because they had a HUGE backlit MMC display photo with him right in the middle!

fun fact: Matt’s father Gary is a famous musician in his own right, being the first person to record “Wind Beneath My Wings” and having it hit the Top Ten in the country charts, several years before Bette Middler’s version. Gary currently runs a fly-fishing/hunting lodge here in Colorado.

I know, one could probably go to IMDb and get all that, but one could have done that for the new Mouseketeers too. Fair is fair.

I have info on one of the Mouseketeers – Brandy Brown was on the show for a while. She has returned home to Mobile, AL and now runs her own school for the performing arts (teaching dance, vocal, and drama.) She is married and just had her fourth child.

Tony Lucca has a solo career. I think he’s touring right now, though he’s been touring a lot the past few years. I got to see him a few years ago and was very excited because of MMC. He still has the great looks and voice but I wasn’t a fan of his lyrics, but it was still fun to see someone off MMC perform.

As a devout MMC (90s edition) fan, I was giggling beyond belief when I saw Matt Morris at Bonnaroo last year. His music is fantastic. He’s incredibly nice, too, if you ever run into him. Say hi–he’ll give you a hug and take a picture with you.

I, on the other hand, was worried it was the old Mousketeers! I’m glad it’s the 90′s version. I looooooved this show. I wanted to be Tiffini. She was so cool. haha.
