For tonight’s Late Movies, we’ve compiled a few clips featuring everyone’s favorite building blocks. Here are a bunch of videos using Lego blocks to recreate famous scenes.

You may have seen Jill & Kevin’s Wedding Entrance video that was making the rounds a few weeks ago. Here’s a Lego recreation.

Here is a shot-for-shot remake of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video. A bit long, but worth it for the choreographed dance scenes.

Here is the opening to Raiders Of The Lost Ark with Legos, but with an alternate ending.

Speaking of Indiana Jones, a group in San Francisco re-shot the famous boulder scene from Raiders Of The Lost Ark using a huge amount of Legos to make the rolling stone. Sadly, however, this turned out to be a fake: Mythbusters tried to recreate the scene, but said it couldn’t be done.

Finally, as we head into the weekend, here is a remake of Weird Al’s video for “White & Nerdy.” Enjoy!

  1. And for the OPERA lovers…

the part that always gets me is about 6 min 25 sec in here

  2. I’m kind of let down by the Weird Al remake since the deal in the alley to buy a video was originally for the Star Wars Holiday Special from 1978 which was a shameful event for George Lucas. This version simply said Star Wars Trilogy. Nerd card, please, Lego White and Nerdy video maker…

  3. There’s also a Knights of the Round Table remake from the Monty Python’s holy grail movie. It’s a good one.

  4. Ahaha the first one was on the office ;)

  5. There are some great lego enactments to go along with excerpts from Eddie Izzard’s stand-up. Some notable ones include the Death Star Cafeteria and a few James Bond clips. NSFW so I can’t hunt down the links at the moment…
