Good luck with today’s Brain Game word ladder. By changing one letter at a time to form new words, and leaving all other letters in their original positions, convert the word WORD into the word PLAY in seven steps or less:

  2. this was kinda hard. at one point you have to have 2 vowels at the middle.

  9. Close, Andrew, but the jump from WARY to PRAY changes three letters instead of one.

    And Rolan, you’re right, the jump from one vowel to two and then back to one is indeed tricky.

  10. The original answer can be shortened by one word by using “wort” – the grain mash used in making beer.
