This month marks the 59th anniversary of the Peanuts strip. The first decade featured three characters who were eventually dropped. They’re included in this quiz, as are 12 others who became the main Peanuts. How many can you recall in two minutes? [Hint: Rerun and the Little Red Haired Girl are not part of the main 15.]
So wait…there was a Patty AND a Peppermint Patty? Did Charles Schultz have a daughter named Patricia or something?

I managed to get all except the dropped ones. Almost forgot Woodstock!

I don’t think your quiz is working correctly… I had at least a dozen names, and it only accepted the first two.

@Mama9cats: It could be your spelling was off. For instance, it’s Marcie, not Marcy. Try again, using different permutations of each name.

Marna9cats,
I had the same problem. I eventually just gave up I got so annoyed. Even when I tried spelling them differently they didn’t work. The the answers were the same as mine. Boo!

How is it that Rerun van Pelt(Lucy and Linus’ little brother) didn’t appear on this list? Shermy hasn’t appeared in the strip since 1969 while Rerun appears every once in a while.

Got 10/15. Not bad.

13/15… and one of the ones I missed was Schroeder!
The other one was Patty – who I think was the girl with the brown hair with a ribbon in it that was on “A Charlie Brown Christmas”. (I referred to it when trying to think of the characters!)

Got ‘em all in 1:01! I rock!

I had to keep retyping names because it would not accept them beginning with lowercase letters. That shift key is such a pain when you are in a hurry. I also had problems due to spelling. I could not figure out how to spell Schroeder correctly.
Missed Marcie Franklin and the dropped ones. Could see Marcie and Franklin, but their names escaped me.

missed Schroeder, Frieda and the dropped ones…
@haselwoman- I never type caps when doing a quiz and have never had a problem. Must have been messed up there for a bit

Isn’t Frieda the name of the red-haired girl?

Yeah, 100%! Shermy and Frieda taxed my brain a bit.
