Very, very sleek new design for a toaster, by a UK designer named George Watson. And while I do love the whole look/feel of it, the appliance looks a little too slim to handle my morning bagel. Link via Boingboing.

  1. I’ll bet Mr. Watson’s next iteration will have an adjustable-aperture pass-through. In fact, to cover the wide range of eligible pastries, he’d be a fool not to.

    This certainly would help prevent the occasions where my Pop-Tart (no, not Brittany Spears) sags due to the heat and gets stuck inside, causing irritation and vexation.

  3. Slap a Hello Kitty Logo on it, and some stupid waif will buy TWO of these.

    I know this because I have a Hello Kitty television set.
