Researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health say that nicotine levels in cigarettes have increased by an average of 1.6% each year since 1997. The researchers confirmed a study that looked at over 100 brands of cigarettes and found that each year there was an increase in the amount of nicotine going to the lungs. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Anyone else see “Thank You For Smoking”? I thought it was pretty funny.
Great movie, great book.
It’s amazing that pet foods are regulated by the FDA, but not cigs.

Nice headline. “Almost 2%”!
1.6% isn’t close to almost 2% Isn’t even in the same ballpark.
1.5% is bad enough without you anti-smoking zealots increasing things almost 25% to make it look worse than it actually is.
When I make around 60k a year I don’t tell people “close to 80k”
Pathetic, as always.
