Soupy Sales did the funniest bit I ever saw on Johnny Carson about settling a dispute “country style”. If anyone has seen that on YouTube, I’d love to see that again. He fell out of his chair writhing around on the ground, Johnny absolutely lost it. Was hilarious.

I was saddened to learn of Soupy’s passing and will always remember his wild antics and the puppets he had. Pies in the face were hilarious and I always laughed at his White Fang (sweetest little dog in the whole world) *woh-uh-uh-wah-wuh-yeah White Fang lingo)
The two VCR tapes I have hold an honored place in my obsolete collection of tapes and will be replaced as soon as possible by replays of the Pinky Lee show.

I’ve heard the name referenced in tv shows etc over the years, but until I read this article I always thought it was some sort of food chain (That had now gone bankrupt :o )
