If you’ve heard the quote before, the “vacuum” part really gives it away. Although there aren’t a whole lot of ways to represent it — maybe a picture of someone being slapped (“whack”), plus a picture of 18th-century philosopher David Hume?

Brandon, I was careful to choose an image without a bow & arrow for just that reason. But, yes, I thought that would be the part of the rebus that caused the most trouble.

haha i kept saying “neigh cupid oars a vacuum” and had no idea what that meant. guess it would’ve helped if i had known cherub…
