We heard plenty of stories of people attempting to camp overnight, but the noises were too much to bare. I have family that live in the area who visit the park frequently, and have shown us pictures of how the landscape changes frequently. In person, the towers do resemble people, and how they stay erect is a mystery. The texture is so sandy, and then the red water that runs through....spooky. The one that comes to mind is What Lies Beneath w/ Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer, but I'm sure there are others. It also reminds me of the season 1 episode of Angel, Rm w/a Vu, and I'm certain I've seen similar stories on Supernatural.
