B.C. has a very lenient policy towards motorcyclists (I'm one of those, too), but that's as much because they haven't been quite stupid enough to bring the R-Camps crashing down on their heads just yet. In the recent past, there was a bit of a scrum going on between them and the newer Chinese gangs for some of the drug trade, but that seems to have settled down, with the Angels losing some turf, but not enough to go to war over. Both sides do know that civilian deaths whould raise high holy hell, so the fights are quiet: the recent murder of a former member brought in a lot of heat. Right now, it's all about camouflage: the biker gangs are looking to idealize themselves, make the lifestyle look like harmless romanticism so the new recruits will come in from straight-laced lives. No records at all, and the fewer speeding tickets, the better. If they can get a ratio of 20-1 (innocents to Angels) in the gang, they can always play up the "a few bad apples" card to stay alive, even if a chapter has to be sacrificed to do it.
