The Cure&#039;s &quot;Killing an Arab&quot; is a rift on &quot;The Stranger&quot; (Lâ€™Ã‰tranger) by Camus.  And, they wrote and recorded it while in secondary school.  Basing a popular song on an existential masterpiece is not bad for a bunch of teenagers.  The evocative retitling of the tale probably helped.</description>
