The eagle crime reminds me of my friend's story of growing up in a rural midwestern town.

His family had a huge, gorgeous Dobermann. And neighborhood cats began disappearing. Mutilated bodies of small animals were found. Everyone blamed their dog; the neighbors were making threats and filing reports with police and animal control.

They were sure their dog hadn't done it; he was gentle and never roamed at night.

Than, one day my friend's dad was sitting on the back porch and heard an enormous BANG! When he looked up, a giant owl was rising out of the yard with a neighbor's cat struggling in its talons. And their puppy was proven innocent!

Oops! Will fix. Thanks!

I have that problem with a lot of news sites. I often have to go to the sports or local weather page to get an idea of what state, or even what country, the site is from. I should have done that this time!
