If you’re a bona fide gleek (that’s Glee + geek for the uninitiated), you know that most of the kids who were lucky enough to be cast as members of New Directions are virtual unknowns. The rest of the faces around McKinley High, however, look awfully familiar. But where have you seen them before? Time to put your gleek-love to the test.

  1. I can’t help taking these quizzes about shows I have never watched. This 80% is my most successful to date!

  2. Fun quiz, despite never having seen the show. I have to say, though, the guy’s name is Stephen Tobolowsky, not Stanley. I hate being pedantic, and I’d usually let mistakes like this go, but y’all made the same mistake three times in one quiz.

  3. I’m pretty sure it’s Stephen Tobolowsky, not Stanley. IMDb agrees.

  4. Hey Nathan and Joel! Thanks for catching that. When I was writing this quiz I still had tears in my eyes from last Wednesday’s episode (Sue reading the book to her sister? Curt and his dad? Artie!?! It was all too much). Even the Gleekiest of gleeks makes silly mistakes. It’s been corrected and we appreciate your watchful eye!

    Gleek Love,
    Jenn

  5. Never seen the show either, all but 2 were guesses – 60% I’ll take it.

That’s funny that Tobolowsky’s character on Glee has the same last name as his character in “Groundhog Day”.

  6. Love the show, but I got a 70%.

Jane Lynch was Pacey’s mom on Dawson’s Creek?!? Seriously?

And one more actor that needed to be mentioned on the quiz – Mike O’Malley, who plays Kurt’s dad (yeah, I didn’t realize it until last week’s episode).

  7. After last week’s episode, I was wondering if Artie was actually handicapped. He wasn’t, but that DID get me two answers.

Incorporating Mike O’Malley and a question with the Agrocrag into a floss quiz would be phenomenal.

  8. “gleek (that’s Glee + geek for the uninitiated)”

No, for the uninitiated, Gleek is the pet monkey of the Wonder Twins, Zan and Jana.

  9. Error in there–Matthew Morrison never did the stage version of Tarzan. He was involved in a workshop of the show, but the role was played by Josh Strickland (an American Idol also-ran) in the production.
