  1. mmm, bacon

  2. I had just finished telling my wife that Mental Floss was the web site for trivia buffs, when I read the bit about Michael Gross and Meredith Baxter. This was absolutely perfect for me! Having a twin sister, I’m constantly telling my wife about all the celebrity “twins” I hear about. My wife has given up trying to make me understand that just because two people were born on the same day, as in the case of my twin and I, they are not necessarily twins. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to tweak my wife with another celebrity twin trivia.

  3. Hey, Older Twin, my dad is also a twin. His brother was born two years before him on Christmas Day. So that counts, right?

  4. While living overseas as a child, my family lived next door to a Japanese family. We soon discovered that my dad and the father of this other family were born on the exact same day and year as each other, only my dad was born in Nebraska and our neighbor in Japan. They always called each other “My American/Japanese Twin Brother” and held joint birthday celebrations.

  5. Hey, Older Twin and Hyacinth, I’m a twin, myself.

  6. Do you have any pictures of the top of the Mental Floss Mug?

I am very picky about how my hot beverage travel mug opens and closes.

  7. “Elise Keaton From Family Ties”
Elyse Is Spelled E-L-Y-S-E. As a girl who is actually named after her character, I hate when people mis-spell
    her name or mine.
