So my friend T’chaka was visiting his sister and his four-year-old niece, Aurora, last December. Aurora began a stream-of-consciousness rant about the need for more peace in the world. Well, rant is maybe too strong a word — it’s more a complex set of observations about world history, politics, peace, money, and bedtime, as seen by a four-year-old. T’chaka captured Aurora’s message on his phone, turning it into a song by singing along and playing improvised guitar. In the year since, T’chaka created an animated film to go along with the song. Check it out below.
Representative lyrics: “You’re hurting the dirt / you’re hurting the rain / you’re hurting crabs / you’re hurting crowds / you’re hurting the whole wide world. … Give a piece! A chance for peace, vote for Barack Obama….”

Isn’t T’Chaka the name of the Marvel Wakandan superhero Black Panther?

Creepy.

Yeah, sounds about 4-year-old level. Cute kid, but lacks critical thinking skills and a classical education.

Classical education? Wow ElZarcho. I feel sorry for your children. You know the earth isn’t actually flat, right?
The animation was creepy, but that kid is cool as are the parents. I wish my parents sung to me like that when I was little.

I love this. How does a four year old have such an open heart? Hopefully he grows up fast and teaches us “adults” a thing or two.

Give a Chance For Peace could be some kind of holiday lottery gift-giving promotion where they donate to charity…

It is a nice thought but some jerk out there doesn’t care about peace. They want your lunch money and will take it from you.
