Boing Boing has a great interview with Loren Coleman, the creator and curator of the International Cryptozoology Museum. Loren has been studying mythical creatures for over 50 years. When asked if he really believes in beasts like Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster, his answer is surprisingly respectably scientific: Loren says he doesn’t, because belief “belongs in the providence of religion.” Rather than believing or not believing in the weird and unusual creatures he studies, he merely keeps an open mind to accepting or denying evidence after a scientific investigation.
The interview is very interesting, as it not only explores the world of cryptozoology, but also examines the mind of someone completely dedicated to the pseudoscience.

marvelous simply marvelous, that is the best answer anyone can give in any situation regarding religion or science, just chill until it is prven or disproven

Still need to correct Lockness to Loch Ness in the initial location we see the story, before we flip to comments.
