The nine squares inside the main red grid should be filled with the digits 1 through 9. Each digit should appear only once in the mail grid. One of these numbers (the 2) is already provided for you. Place the other digits in the correct spots so that the mathematical equations work both across and down. IMPORTANT: Remember algebraic rules when solving the problems… multiplication and division should be performed first, then addition and subtraction. Good luck!

The 69 makes this one pretty easy

the 69 is the only reason I was actually able to get one of these. Thanks for the Christmas gift of making me feel smart today.

Mahalo for the Math Square. I usually breeze through these, but almost always give up on the word quizzes. I’m with Dana on feeling smart today, and any day you give Math Squares.

Oooo, for not even being a huge math person, I was able to do this! Thanks so much, my day just got SO much better!!!
Can’t wait to take this home and let my dad try! (he loves traditional sudukos, so this should be a fun change of pace)

Ok maybe I’m going crazy, but how is 3 x 1 (three) minus 7 = 4?
Do negatives not count or something?

You have to read it left to right. 7-(3×1)=4.
