This year I posted a bunch of Sesame Street videos. YouTube is a wonderful thing, and what’s better is that the folks at Sesame Street post tons of clips online, and don’t seem to file many rights complaints against others who post clips. For your convenience, I’ve collected the best of this year’s Sesame Street discoveries into one post. Click away, and be transported into the slightly orange-tinged 70′s and yellowish 80′s!
From Retro Video: How Crayons Are Made.
From Sesame Street + Philip Glass = Crazy Brain Explosion. Two videos:
From The Yip Yips (this is the only video from that post that remains available).
Rather than post roughly 30 videos here, I’ll just link to the two posts: The Late Movies: Musicians and Their Awesome Sesame Street Appearances, and The Late Movies: 15 MORE Musicians and Their Awesome Sesame Street Appearances. I’ll give you two videos as enticement to check out the rest, though:

I loved the crayon video when I was little. I think it was also on Mr. Roger’s, too. The crayola factory sure looks outdated, lol! It looked like a high school shop classroom.

That crayon video has me in a trance… Maybe I am weird, but I LOVE watching (retro-y 70s-ish) videos of objects being made.

the crayon video was extremely interesting but it also made me wonder how many of the colors in that they made are still in use?

Yeah, the crayon video was on Mr. Rogers as well, one of the Picture-Picture films. I don’t remember the electronica soundtrack, though (Bruce Haack? Krafwerk?).
