I’ve lived in Atlanta for a little over a year and somehow I didn’t hear about The Redneck Games of East Dublin, GA until the week after they happened. An estimated 20,000 people showed up for the 11th annual event that started as a joke during the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. This is a picture of one of the more successful belly floppers in Redneck Games history. Other events include toilet-lid tossing and the armpit serenade. I’m counting down the days until next year’s festivities.
