The CDC and MSN worked together to create a fascinating animated bit about the rise of obesity in America. Check out this link to watch us all get fatter. It would be cool if they could make this show results in real time so that I could see the map change as I finish this piece of pizza.

  1. Fun for the whole family, Will, thanks! It seems that things didn’t get really bad until the mid-90s. I wonder if that had anything to do with the return of Poprocks???

  2. What’s amazing is how it seems to spread outward in all directions from one original region (the South), just like a communicable disease would. I guess the obesity “epidemic” really is one.
