I just watched this movie for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I was so fascinated by the fact that these women stood in front of the camera for so long. How did the director convince them? What went through their minds? Another interesting part of the movie is comparing San Francisco then to San Francisco now. There's a part where they drive on the double-decker freeway that ran down the Embarcadero. The earthquake definitely made some improvements to San Francisco.
