The Museum of Temporary Art

No, that’s not a typo. No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you. There’s now a museum in Tübingen, Germany, that houses temporary works of art.

Here’s how it works:

1) You choose an object about 4 x 4 x 8 cm to donate to the collection.

2) You mail it to the museum and they put it in one of their plastic storage bins, thus replacing someone else’s contribution.

3) You tell all your friends who are passing through Tübingen to stop in and see your art on display.

4) Well, first you tell all your friends how to pronounce Tübingen, and how it’s a lively and quaint university town on the edge of the Schwarzwald (the Black Forest). Then you instruct them to go see your art on display.

5) Or you just view it on their website here.
