What was nice was when she would come to see her folks, who lived only a few doors down from our family&#039;s house, all of the residents just left her alone. Again, I don&#039;t think our hometown really understood Joni&#039;s mark on music and society at the time.

BTW, Joni&#039;s folks were always nice and approachable when we would ask how she is doing with her career.</description>
