For many girls around the world, Judy Blume books served as an introduction to the wonders of womanhood, though many of us didn’t fully understand the meaning of what we read until years later (“Special spot?” Can you be more specific?)

Let’s find out how much you remember about the JB books you might have stolen from your older sister.

  1. 7 out of 11, having never read any of her books, not bad

  2. Forever was the most notorious book in my middle school library. You didn’t need to search for the “dirty” parts. The pages were loose and their edges were worn fuzzy. You were the pinnacle of cool if your mother let you check the book out…you needed a note from a parent to do so.

  3. jen in japan: then you missed out on “wifey”. it’ll make you forget “forever”.

  4. Wow, I haven’t read any of these in DECADES and I got 9 out of 11. Can’t believe I still remember this stuff.

  5. Wow, it’s been years but 8 out of 11 isn’t bad. Blume was my childhood hero. I’m surprised the quiz didn’t mention Tiger Eyes.
