Agreed with Jacob. “Christ’s Entry into Brussels” is an incredible painting done on a monumental scale. Well worth checking out.

The Giants Rock! If you havne’t heard them, listen to them! You will hate them the first time around, and fall in love the second. An especially great song: Birdhouse in your Soul. From Particle Man: “Is he a dot, or is a speck? When he’s underwater, does he get wet? Or, does the water get him instead? Nobody knows. Particle Man.” Pure genius!

If anyone is in the L.A. area they should check out the the Getty Center. They have one of Ensor’s best pieces: Christ’s Entry into Brussels in 1889. It’s 99 1/2 x 169 1/2 inches!

Two years ago I put together an exhibit for a Dia de los Muertos Celebration in my art gallery. As many of you will know skeletons are an essential element of the day. In doing so my appreciation of this view of us as what we become increased dramatically.
Great stuff. Thanks for sharing it.
