So this couple, Jennifer and Jeff, wanted to announce Jennifer’s pregnancy. Apparently Jeff had some time on his hands (for now), so he created this amazing birth announcement using modified footage from Star Wars: Episode IV. Like, he took the footage and added 3D animated stuff to it, re-edited it, it’s intense. This is the nerdiest thing I’ve seen all day. Stick around for the crawl at the end.

I dunno, while “we’re pregnant” presupposed “we had sex!”, that kind of forces you to think about your friends having sex more than I’m really comfortable thinking about my friends having sex.

That made me really happy! Right up until “we’re not naming them Luke and Leia”.

Whew. I was really, really worried that the immortal line “You came in that thing? You’re braver than I thought” might make an appearance in the video. I’m glad they had more taste than me.

That was simply amazing… Super sperm ftw!

Kind of ironic that ‘laws of nature’ made ‘aging couple’ possible and that ‘super sperm’ was also made who he was because of the ‘laws’… hahahaha

This video has made my day. Is there an article about baby names derived from Star Wars?

“We’re not naming them Luke and Leia” made me laugh.e

Should I be embarassed that I DID name my daughter Leia?

I’m sorry, but I never want to see the words “baby hole” EVER. Let alone in reference to my friend’s pregnancy. Ick.

Aww, man! I could have used this 2½ years ago when my wife, who’s name is also Jennifer, had twins!

Chewbacca is a nice name

Awesome video. “Baby hole” made it even funnier. Congrats to the happy couple.

That was awesome! I got goosebumps when you see the number 2 come up. Totally cool!

I’d be so embarrassed if my husband made something like that about me… don’t get me wrong, Star Wars is awesome! I would have a Star Wars wedding even, but I would have to draw the line at something featuring a TIE fighter shooting at a “baby hole”.

And what is “pregnant…real hard” supposed to mean?
LOL, I agree, let’s never discuss “baby hole” again.

@Elise: The X-wing shot the baby hole. The TIE fighter is Vader’s ride.

@Cole clearly deserves a hard core geek award. Insisting on accuracy even in regards to a fan vid comment is very hard core fan. ;)

This is amazing! Congrats Jennifer and Jeff, for defeating Laws of Nature with Kick ass sperm!
Now when I change my name to Jennifer and expect twins I’ll definitely borrow this video.
