Elephants at the Hospital

I saw these pics on the ever-fascinating TheCellar, and figured these artistic photos of Elephants being nursed back to health were too interesting not too share. Who knew there were IV’s and giant slings for the poor creatures? Apparently, the pics are of an elephant hospital in Thailand, where they’re trying to keep the gentle beasts out of elephant graveyards.

  1. The Elephant is a sacred animal in Thailand, a true symbol of the nation, pretty much as the bald eagle in the US.
