With the failure of the junk shot and top kill, it’s clear that the only solution left for the oil spill is to call on Captain Planet. Since that isn’t a real option (as much as my seven-year-old self would like to believe it is), we can at least celebrate the Earth’s superhero with a quiz. See how much you remember about the classic Captain Planet and the Planeteers cartoon.

  8. Not only is Captain Planet my hero, he’s my ringtone! I was also Ma-Ti for Halloween two years ago. This wasn’t some thing where my friends were all going as the Planeteers, and I got the short straw, oh no, I chose to be Heart, and walked around with no Planeteers. I did have my monkey though.

    Regardless, I got a 10.
