pur-flavor-options-752865.jpgOhGizmo is reporting that Proctor and Gamble’s Pur Water Filtration system (which attaches to the faucet to deliver “Pur”-er water), now comes with flavor cartridges—meaning you can get filtered peach, strawberry or raspberry flavored water straight from the tap! Apparently, each cartridge delivers 75 glasses of the good stuff. As for the mixed beverage, it contains no sugar, fat, carbs or vitamins. That said, it is packed with just enough fruity flavor to sell a few more filters.

  1. We are _this_ close to having Brawndo in all of our taps…..

  2. sure it is an excellent idea
The flavor is not filtered, the flavor is added into the water flow then dispensed out the same spout.

A kitchen faucet is not designed for the type of pressure this system will put on the faucet.

Changing that flavor cartridge to suit everyones taste and that pushing on the faucet…..
Oh boy I can see a major recall or class action suit once everyones faucet starts to leak and or pull out.

Go into your Kitchen and press lightly on your kitchen faucet and think to yourself how long will your kitchen faucet tolerate that kind of abuse.

Buy one if you want, but I shame proctor and gamble for a very bad design and I wonder how much testing they actually did, if any.

  3. The Flavors taste like Kool-Aid and nothing like a hint of fresh fruit.
