Woody Allen Interviews Billy Graham

Crazy! I’d never heard about this interview before today. I also never realized how charming Billy Graham was in his younger years (he actually stumps Woody with his wit in one part?!). Of course, I’m not espousing either side of the debate here, but I do like the tone of the interview, and I think it’s always nice to see an agnostic and a believer getting along.   2. Yes it is nice to see agnostics & believers getting along, but it’s not that unusual (once you get away from the Internet.) Some of my best friends are agnostics.

    And yes, Graham was charming back then, and still is. He still has the same wit and sense of humor, but I think what makes him most likable is his honesty and his conviction.

  3. Personally, I don’t see anything surprising from either of them. Whatever your position, if you talk to a somewhat reasonable person who espouses the opposing viewpoint, there’s a good chance that you’ll see their philosophy in a new light. The only trick is to keep an open mind. After all, what more is there to life than the search for understanding?
