For the third time in the last 6 days, another line of nasty storms rolled through Chicago on Wednesday evening. In this clip you will see three of the tallest buildings in Chicago get struck by lightning at the same time. Willis Tower (Tallest), Trump International Hotel and Tower (2nd Tallest) and the John Hancock Building (4th tallest).
HD Video was shot on a Canon EOS 7D. Video was edited with Sony Vegas Movie Studio.

Awesome video, I love watching lightening storms, makes the rain/flooding worth it. currently raining buckets down here but no pretty to go with it, or end in sight. not looking forward to the swim home.

We got the same system up here in SE-WI on those same days, and places got hit pretty hard… air conditioning units torn off of a post office roof, the mail trucks blown across the street. I’ve lived here almost my whole life, and I’ve never seen so many downed trees… I mean not just split branches, but large old oaks with branches twisted off, huge old maples completely uprooted, a couple of tornado touchdowns… good storms.
