12. I missed 2, the 2 that have the same last name. I actually turned my head away from the screen as time ran out just to see if I could figure out who I missed with some extra time. If there were another 15 seconds, I would have gotten them all.

    Jason, that’s quite an impromptu Brain Game you came up with. All I could come up with is “QUANT SPOOD”. “Quant” is the only word that I can think of that fits besides “giant”. “Spood” I just made up, but it kind of sounds like an actual word, right?

    Out of curiosity, where did you get that picture from? That exact episode of Wheel of Fortune aired, or probably re-aired, on Saturday, May 22 of this year.

    No, I am not a crazy Wheel of Fortune fan who remembers every episode. I am a crazy Lost fan who recorded every episode over the last 2 years even though I watched them live. On that Saturday, the day before the Lost finale, ABC re-aired the pilot episode at 8PM and I recorded it. I am also paranoid, so I started the recording at 7:55PM, catching the last 5 minutes of Wheel of Fortune. I just watched that recording this past Sunday, and the first frame of the recording is this exact puzzle and close to this exact shot. Some coincidence, huh? I can confirm that the answer is giant squid, the guy answered it correctly, and Pat Sajak was nervous the guy was going to jump on him.
