Maybe some of these are common knowledge, and I’m just out of the loop (very possible), but I hadn’t seen any of these methods before I watched these instructional videos.
I practiced the shoestring thing, and while it works it’s going to be hard to do fast. It’s hard to make sure the strings are facing the right way.
Can’t wait to try the egg thing. I wonder if it always works or if the eggs have to be cooked just right?
Omigod, I still don’t get the T-shirt folding.. I’ll have to try very very slowly… but I think that the chicken wing one will change my SO’s life… what a conversation starter, too! Bar bets… oh, the possibiLITIES…
I eat chicken wings with one hand since I eat them super saucy and I’ve gotten very good at just sucking them off the bone… I’m willing to try this crazy new method though… and I’m gonna fold my tshirts as soon as I get home!(I have to do laundry anyway…)
@nicole- Excellent idea. I just tried it (I happened to wear a dress to work today) and you’re right… awesomeness! I just don’t like that it ended up inside out!
Well… too bad all my shirts (even my casual ones) have buttons. Otherwise I’d totally try that first one out.
The chicken wings, though – I’ll have to give that one a go. Seems like it might depend on how they’re cooked, but it can’t hurt to give it a try. Besides, bone-in wings are usually cheaper than the boneless ones I usually go for, so this tip could end up saving me money!
Hmm tried the shirt-removal thing, seems like a really good way to stretch out the sleeve if you ask me! I’ll lose a couple of seconds and do it the old fashioned way…
Confession: I just totally did that shirt thing. Twice. It was awesome.

That’s exactly how Brandi Chastain took off her shirt at the ’99 Women’s World Cup.
Don’t ask me how I know that.
Eh, never mind, you already know how I know that.

God, I hope people only do that egg thing for eggs they’re going to eat themselves. Because otherwise, seriously, eww.

I can’t wait to have chicken wings to try that trick.

A) The chicken wing video just changed my life.
B) I tried the shirt thing but my boobs kind of hindered the process.

I’ve seen the chicken wing thing before, and ever since, its the only way I can eat them. It really is much more effective.

My big head gets the shirt stuck everytime I try that.

So glad I’m not the only one who tried the shirt thing!
And the chicken wing thing changed my life too! I always end up looking like a 3 year old when I try to eat wings!

This is going to sound really bad, but I’m dying to see Nicole do the shirt thing with her dress.

I watched the how to peel a potato one and that blew my mind. Next time the husband and I make a beef and potato stew, I am SO trying that!

I love the similarity of the music in those videos. Seems to be a very specific genre that I rather like actually …
Totally just tried the shirt thing. Somehow I just wasn’t wearing it any more and I couldn’t quite work out how.

Okay, who else is having chicken wings for dinner some night this week? Because I totally am.
I’m a little bummed is that I watched these videos after lunch – I had boiled eggs and could have tried the peeling an egg trick!

That is definitely how I always tie my shoes and take off my shirt. Unless its a polo. Doesn’t seem to work well with polos.

I learned that way to fold a t-shirt from Martha Stewart a few years back. Haven’t done it any other way since.
