I love Helenann's memorial for her dog--it's so sweet and fitting.

I want the lunar orbit option from #7--close as I'll get to walking under the skies of a different sun, in this body/lifetime.

I know of a glass blowing studio that mix ashes in with the still liquid glass and create a memorial piece of art. They had some sample pieces on display, and the ashes were clearly visible in the glass. Interesting idea, but I'm not so sure I would want to end up as a fruit bowl.

My dog always watched trains with us, and he always wanted to jump out and catch one. I took his cremains to a remote non-agricultural spot where there are tracks and I spread them under a full moon and many mosquitoes. :) I waited...and waited, and he finally caught his train. :)

I came across this website a couple of weeks ago: www.blueskygoodbye.com. They scatter your ashes via sky dive. . like literally release them into the air at 11,000 feet. I watched some videos on youtube. . truely a majestic sight. What a creative, unique idea. I was sort of surprised this wasn't on the list.

I have informed my fiancee and our families that I would love to be put into an Eternal Reef when I pass. It is a wonderful idea, the thought of my used up body giving back to this earth!

We actually just shot my uncle out of about 100 fireworks. It's illegal so it was all very hush hush but now my mom's yard is covered in ash and its amazing. he had told everyone for 50 years that that is what he wanted and we made it happen. its amazing what you will do for loved ones.

Although the Keith Richards thing was a joke, rocker Stiv Bators did say he wanted his friends to snort his ashes--and apparently his girlfriend at the time of his death attempted to do so.

I always said that I want to be cremated when I go. I told my wife that she should hold a dinner party (of very bland food) based on a list of folks who did me wrong at one point or another and never redeemed themselves. She would then sit them down to dinner and hand them a note upon finishing. It would let them know the salt and pepper shakers containted some of my ashes. "Eat me" would never mean the same thing to those poor souls again!!!
