A pair of dentures belonging to Winston Churchill recently sold at auction for $23,750.  The final purchase price was more than three times the amount the chompers were predicted to fetch.

Related Fact:
The same auction house also sold one of Churchill’s partially smoked cigars for over $6,000.

  1. I think that’s cool in that “I have a pair of Churchill’s dentures” history nerd sort of way, but at the same time, you have to think that you just spent $23,750.00 on WINSTON CHURCHILL’S DENTURES.

  3. Do you think Dental Insurance would cover part of the cost of purchasing Churchill’s Dentures? Especially if the person had them put in?
