Despite the fact that I went to a great public school, I guess we just didn’t have the funding to do balloon animal dissections in our bio classes. If only I’d known about the delicate and beautiful bone structure and vein patterns of balloon animals, I might have been less inclined to pop so many of them over the years. In any case, I’ve changed my ways since seeing Jason Freeny’s diagram, and I’m assuming you can too. Don’t let it scare you. Let it free you. Link via Ohgizmo.

  1. Haha. I love this. I learned how to make balloon animals in third grade and it has been a fun, if not useful, skill to have. Its great to get shy kids to open up and it was an interesting icebreaker when I moved into the dorms. The balloon dog is super easy to learn. Anyone can do it!
