Bar Trivia: Who Caught Brett Favre’s First NFL Completion?
by Jason English - August 18, 2010 - 2:35 PM

Brett Favre’s first NFL completion was caught by…Brett Favre! (It was deflected.)

It happened on September 13, 1992, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Favre’s second season. He played his rookie year with the Atlanta Falcons, but did not complete a pass. He was 0-4 with two interceptions that year.

  1. Nice one!

  2. I was going to guess Moses….although Methuselah was open down the field.

  3. An interesting fact

  4. Favre also likes to throw his last passes with a team to someone other than his own teammates. True with the Falcons, Packers, and if he had retired this summer, the Vikings, too. His second to last pass with the Jets was also intercepted.

Yes, I am a jaded Packers fan. :o)

  5. Kevin, LOL!

I’m a lifelong Viking’s fan that still doesn’t feel comfortable with Favre at the helm. It’s just…wrong somehow.
