I used to wear my Etch-a-Sketches out, I loved playing with them so much. I was born in Ohio so I thought it was cool they said Ohio Art on them. One of my Fav things to do was to “black out” the whole screen so that I could see all of the inside mechanics of how it worked. I read somewhere that the Etch-a-Sketch artists drill a hole in the back and drain out all of the “dust” so that it can’t be tipped upside down and erased. I don’t blamed them after 5-60 hours of work put into it *I* would too!
