Fifteen distinctive electric guitars and basses, and fifteen renowned players. Can you match up each instrument to its owner? See how well you … pick.
Fun quiz for us Guitar Nerds, though not too difficult. Interested to hear how non-GN’s do on this.

2, 3, and 4 messed me up, partially because I’ve seen Garcia playing a Les Paul.
Interesting side note, Michael Anthony didn’t play bass on Van Halen’s studio albums, Eddie did. Anthony was just the live bassist.

I’ve been out of guitars for a long time — I’m surprised I got 13 right! (Who the heck is Zakk Wilde??)

Did anyone notice that Billy Gibbon’s “guitar” was really Dusty Hill’s bass? Sloppy.
[ed. note: Did you mean Billy Gibbons’ guitar? Sloppy. Anyway, it’s been fixed!]

I am pretty sure Zakk Wilde is from Black Label Society.

Zakk Wilde used to be the guitarist for Ozzy back in the day. Now is is doing good with his own little band, “Black Label Society”.
