People aren’t the only ones using treadmills to keep in shape.
Horse
Slow motion captures a race horse’s strength and grace.
*
Dog
It doesn’t take him long to catch on.
Bird
*
Pig
Yeah, it’s an ad, but it’s still a pig on a treadmill.
*
Ferret
*
Kiwi
*
Bat
Who knew vampire bats could run?
*
Fish
From a study on the mudskipper’s oxygen consumption. (Thanks, Lula!)
*
Guinea Pigs
*
Turtle
A science experiment to document the breathing process of a turtle.
*
Cat Who Likes a Treadmill
November is not only willing to use the treadmill as it was intended, but also looks good doing it.
*
Cat Who Doesn’t
*
Two Cats
Might as well have some fun with your sibling.
*
Cat and Dog Together
You can tell the cat is looking for an easier way.
*
Shrimp
Not to be watched while drinking liquid.
*
Humans
Apparently, humans on treadmills are only noteworthy when they do it wrong.
It’s definitely worth saying that the shrimp on the treadmill video is a product of my humble alma mater:

One of my professors in college was a Snake Gastrophysiologist, and he used put huge pythons on treadmills to run metabolism experiments.
Pretty entertaining stuff.

Whew, I am also a pet lover and I liked this idea of animals on treadmills. Maybe there is a fitness equipment guide for pets, can someone help me. Sometimes I lack the time of walking our dog klok-klok outside so he became very heavy and one time he just collapsed out of exhaustion, he has not been walking around lately. I am afraid that one day he might just get a heart attack. Other than a treadmill, would there be other equipments for pets that would boost their condition even without having to go outside, or some other activities that pets can do. I would appreciate it.
