One injury can ruin an athlete’s career or a team’s season. So it just smarts that much more when they hurt themselves in a ridiculous way. Take the quiz and see if you can match the athlete to their bizarre injury.

  1. No comments. I was surprised since the quizzes are usually popular. But only nerds read this and what do we care or know about sports? I only played baseball once and never even scored a touchdown.

  3. My favorite bad sports injury occurred in the 1970’s. The Buffalo Sabres were doing really well until they lost winger Rick Martin to a fluke knee injury. He slipped in the shower at the Memorial Auditorium on a bar of soap. Season over.
