Gee - I thought I was on the cutting edge with my two helical wind turbines selling electricity to the local co-op when I wasn't using it to power my house. Guess I was behind the curve again.

Then again, I *did* propose making some sort of gadget that would catch the methane from my neighbor's cow farts - never patented the idea tho...

Don't much care for the idea of living in a wind turbine - don't much care for roller coasters and other thrill rides.

I love the idea that gym in Hong Kong had. I've always thought that people on treadmills could be used for something better. Just think, gyms being completely run on electricity generated by their patrons. I know the Y I work at could at least power the machines themselves or maybe some of the fan/lights. Too bad the Y is too cheap to install that type of cutting edge technology.

I want one! Now! Can you imagine how awesome it'd be to wake up to varying views of your neighborhood every day...you don't have to live on a hillside to enjoy wind power...but it helps! loves it...

Ummm...about the Wind Pavilion...how fast does this thing move? I have an image of the pavilion spinning wildly in a storm, throwing inhabitants against walls centrifuge-style...not likely I suppose, but funny!
