Jonathan Coulton’s Greatest Hits
by Chris Higgins - August 15, 2007 - 11:04 AM

I’ve expressed my appreciation for Jonathan Coulton previously, and he continues to deliver, including an ongoing US tour. I’ve recently come across several blogs posting live performances from his one-man shows, and thought I’d post a roundup here of some greatest hits.

Also, fans will appreciate the New York Times Magazine interview with Coulton from three months back.

  1. if you like this type of music/live performance, you should check out a guy by the name of Pat McCurdy. He hails from wisconsin and tours the midwest. Just look him up by name on youtube for videos :)

  2. Hey there!

My name is Matt Harris, and I work for Green Light Go Publicity out of Detroit, MI. Due to the wonder of the Google Alert, I saw that was posted about Jonathan Coulton. I thought you might be interested in one of our current clients, a Chicago-based band named Beatnik Turtle. They’re releasing an office themed CD, entitled All in a Day’s Work, in September, and are currently running A Song of the Day Campaign. Beginning on the first of they year, the campaign ends on December 31st, 2007 after posting 365 songs, literally mounting a song a day throughout the year.
Comprised of a community of musicians, they share a similar musical vision and sense of humor, writing, recording and producing songs in their own studio as well as performing live. They’re very much in the vein of Jonathan, and if you’d like, I’d be more than happy to send you some more info.
