I’m curious about this ‘laughing psychosis’. I never noticed it in the DSM-IVr before, and I’ve met at least one schizophrenic who giggled whenever she felt threatened.

Oh come on, it’s bad enough that women are constantly told to keep laughter “lady-like.” Now guffawing can be perceived as a symptom of losing it? Grrrr.

I have to say that Micheal Richards going crazy in that nightclub has forever ruined Siendfeld for me.
