Another great quiz from our favorite intern Jason Plautz. There are some song lyrics that are so poetic, so real that they just make your heart stop and your eyes flutter. These aren’t them. Click here to play!

  1. 100%. Never a doubt.

  2. 100% as well, some were rediculously easy… i.e. The Ramones.

  3. 100%, as well. Too easy!

  4. 100%. Whoo Hoo!!!!

  5. 100% one of your easiest, I’d have to say. Loads of fun!

  6. 100%. To be honest, I looked at about 12 of the photos and knew what the samples would be before I played them. Spice Girls? Zig-a-zig-ah, of course. Steam only ever had one hit, so that was a gimme.

A fun idea for a quiz, but maybe next time choose some not-s-obvious artists/songs.

  7. Sweet! 100% for me too!

  8. I love sound quizzes! How about an all scat quiz?

  9. I got 100% too. There definitely were some really easy ones in there. It was still a fun way to spend my break at school.

  10. apparently gibberish isn’t on my ipod, I only answered 4 of them correctly!

  11. 100% to easy.

  12. 100%

I think Sting (of The Police) might be too smart to be a song writer. I had to look up “Scylla and Charybdis” (from “Wrapped Around Your Finger”) in the dictionary.

  13. Yes, it was too easy, although I had to go back to Otis. I am very ashamed!!

  14. Interesting idea, but way to easy. Aren’t Scylla and Charybdis from ancient Greek mythology?

  15. Scylla is a dangerous rock in the straits of Messina, opposite the whirlpool Charybdis: In Greek mythology they were personified as female monsters.

The song lyric is “….caught between the Scylla and Charybdis.” It’s like the saying “Caught between a rock and a hard place.”

  16. 100% with no doubts and no replays. Way too easy!

  17. I got 100% too. But it was still a blast. More quizzes with soundbites, please!! :-) The way I made this game even more fun/tricky for me was to listen to most of the clips without looking at the pictures. That way it was a test of my memory and not just matching. There were two that I didn’t know, so for those I used the pictures :-)
