Everyone has to start somewhere. Even Dick Cheney, Oprah, John Krasinski and Frank Lloyd Wright. Before they were stars, they were interns. In honor of our recent call for mental_floss interns, today’s quiz challenges you to match the celebrity to the internship that started it all. (Or in some cases, the internship that just passed the time before said celebrity’s big break.)

Take the quiz now.
Then come back and tell us how you fared.

  1. 70%! I consider that pretty good.

  2. 50%.. Not bad, since I only knew one answer (Oprah).

  3. 50%…only was certain about three. Now my poor brain hurts!

  4. 5 out of 10 ain’t bad. i guessed on about a third of them.

  5. 60% – I was certain about Cheney.

  6. 70% a few guesses…still, I’m happy!

  7. 60%-I’m a good guesser! I only knew 2 for sure.

  8. 60% hey hey

  9. 40%, but I loved getting Cheney right, and especially Brook Sheids!

  10. 70%. I missed Cheney – it just seemed to obvious to be true!

  11. The real questions are, “did they put what they learned during their internships to go use?” ,and “what did Cheney learn from his internship with Senator Kennedy?”

  12. 60% – A really good guesser!
