Back in the early 80s the Ren-Faire in Tuxedo NY had an event called “Drench a Wench”. The object was to throw a wet sponge over your shoulder at a group of attractive young “wenches”. If you hit one she would walk up and give you a big kiss. IIRC you got 3 tries for a dollar. They also had a “Soak a Bloke” for the ladies. At a gothic renn-faire type of thing, I paid a dollar to smack a girl with a paddle for charity.

One local charity here that supports Diabetes research holds a yearly dinner where prominent citizens raise money for the “opportunity” to kiss a pig. Pigs were apparently essential to early diabetes research (into insulin possibly?), so the pig is thematically appropriate as well as hilarious to watch pillars of the community kiss.
